Creating Java Axis client interface objects

Axis provides tools that help to automate the creation of the objects for a client interface. The following sections describe these tools and the generated interface objects:

To create client interfaces and client applications to access 4GL Web services, you must have Java SDK 1.3 or later and the Axis Toolkit. For more information, see the README files in the Java samples described in Chapter 6, " Sample Progress 4GL Web Services and Client Applications."
